Styled Photo Shoot: Royal Picnic

When Melissa McCrotty asked me to design a styled session several months ago I was instantly excited! We've all seen the From Inspiration to Reality features on Style Me Pretty and this was my opportunity to create my very own. Our purpose with this session was to create something beautiful that will inspire you for your wedding day! We pulled together a dream team of vendors to help accomplish my vision and they came through flawlessly.

My vision was an over-the-top, opulent tablescape that evokes the feeling of a Royal Picnic. Think Marie Antoinette... I accomplished this look by using lush linens, antique furniture, and abundant floral designs mixed with beautiful table settings and printed materials. I couldn't resist throwing in a little modern twist and using ghost chairs - the vintage shape mixed with the modern material was the perfect choice! And the finishing touch was a fabulous crystal chandelier and gilded mirror hung from the tree to put it all over the top.

We are submitting the images to magazines and blogs. So, I can't show much, but I wanted to give you all a quick sneak peak of the gorgeousness because I just can't wait!
Centerpieces by Distinctive Designs by Tanarah, Sofa & Linen from Party Time Rentals
Wheat Sourdough Loaves from Boulevard Bread, Napkins & Flatware from Party Time Rentals, "Feast With Us" tags from Sincerely Yours Paper, Inc

After the The Feast portion of the shoot, we restyled the table for our 2nd couple to create a Dessert Set up...
Ghost Chairs, Linens, & Sofa from Party Time Rentals; Chandelier, Rug, & Captain's Chairs from Alda's Magnolia Hill, Cake by Seasons of Love Bakery, and all Florals from Distinctive Designs by Tanarah.

So, What do you think?? Wait until you see all of the amazing portraits and other details captured perfectly by Melissa McCrotty! I promise, you will fall love with it all.

A big thank you to Alda's Magnolia Hill for letting us use her beautiful reception venue! And to all of the other incredible vendors who participated and made it look so beautiful:

Jessica, this is gorgeous! I actually am starting a vintage rental company in Houston because of the high demand for eclectic weddings!
