I love travel themed details for any wedding but especially for a destination event! Using Post Cards as your save the dates or giving luggage tags as favors adds to the unique atmosphere of the wedding. Here are a few great options:

3rd row, left: Vintage Train Case from Get Ready Set Go, $64.95

4th row, left: Vintage Street Map Sterling Silver Cuff Links from DLK Designs, $48.00

4th row, right: Bon Voyage Card from Ear Mark, $4.00

I love destination weddings, but if you cannot bear to miss out on that big, formal wedding you can give it a travel theme in a chic way. Bon Voyage!

Groom Style - Quirky Boutonnieres!
The Groom's style is often overlooked throughout the wedding. Why not let him have a little fun with his boutonniere?! I love these fabulously fun bouts from 100 layer cake.
They're created especially for the groom (and groomsmen) based on his hobbies and personality. Why haven't these been more popular before now?? I hope to see them much more often in the future.

Finishing Touch loves Message Rings!
These rings by Jungyun Yoon are simple and absolutely fabulous! They come in 14k gold ($790.00) and sterling silver ($120.00). The words "marry me" or "always" are raised on the inside leaving an impression on your finger after the ring is removed. Other personalized messages can be created for an additional fee.
Of course being me, I was worried that they'd be uncomfortable. After looking at comments and message boards it seems that everyone who has tried them on has said that they are in fact very comfortable.
Purchase one or purchase a pair at a discounted price. They are a wonderful option for the unconventional couple or for the couple on a budget. Buy yours today!

Popcorn Bar
I absolutely love the idea of having a popcorn bar at your wedding! It's the perfect favor for the couple who loves popcorn or for big movie buffs! Add custom tags for each different flavor and you have a beautiful display and a fun favor.Of course on my popcorn bar, I would need M&Ms! You can't beat plain popcorn mixed with M&Ms....Ask anyone in my family.

Cute Cocktails and Delicious Drinks!
Stunningly Sweet Cakes
Sticking with sweets as our theme for the day, I've decided to share some amazing cake creations by K. Rose Cakes. Not only are they beautiful and unique, there is something fun about them as well.
Now, to begin with my favorite: This silhouette cake would go perfectly with the silhouette wedding post from last month.

And my 2nd choice, these stunning monogram cakes, are a new way of doing monograms. I absolutely love it!

Wedding Balloons! Do or Don't?
A wonderful friend of mine has a deep love for balloons! She always wanted balloons in her wedding. I never liked the idea, and thought it was tacky and small town prom-ish. But, I stand corrected! These balloons are stunning in the pictures. They make me smile! I still won't go as far as a balloon arch, but I will definitely recommend a balloon or two for photographs. I especially love the large round balloons!
What do you guys think? Is this a do or a don't?
Check out more gorgeous balloon shots at Flights of Fancy.

Hand Dyed Crinoline makes for amazing wedding photos. And for just $25.00, how can you pass it up??

Rachel & Matt Sneak Peak!
Rachel & Matt's incredible photographer, Shannon of A Moment Captured, has worked tirelessly to put up a fabulous sneak peak just 2 days after the wedding! Their images have blown me away! I cannot wait to see more. Here are several of my favorites:

Rachel & Matt are married!
A miracle happened last night...After a week of constant rain, with a 90% chance of thunderstorms for the evening, the rain stopped and Rachel and Matt were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas. (Of course we were prepared with tents and heaters)
The bride was stunning in a strapless ball gown (with blue rainboots!), and carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses & white anemone wrapped in lace from her mother's wedding gown. She walked down the aisle to "Trumpet Voluntary" - her "something borrowed", as her mother and sister also walked down the aisle to the tune. The ceremony was absolutely perfect (although a little cold) and the bride and groom walked back down the aisle to "The Two of Us" by The Beatles.
The reception, on the tented terrace, was a party! Guests dined on delicious food from Catering Concepts, enjoyed "Something Blue" specialty drinks, and were entertained by the fabulous music of the Red Amibition Band. The reception was absolutely stunning! Black and white with touches of light blue, everything came together perfectly - the beautiful pave rose centerpieces with led lights on damask fabric were chic and modern. The bride, a graphic designer, created an incredible logo that we included on everything possible (centerpieces, programs, specialty drink recipe cards, the cake, and much, much more). The cake, by Shelby Lynn's Cake Shoppe, was a perfect compliment to the rest of the decor, and rested on a cake stand we created of pave flowers. The photobooth from Dancenhance was a huge hit! Guests came back again and again to take photos and the bride and groom's book, filled with the photos, was absolutely hilarious and priceless!
I could talk about this wedding forever! But pictures will speak much louder. Check back soon! I'll be posting a sneak peak as soon as possible with a full gallery in a few weeks.
