Shannon & Kirk: The Ceremony & Reception

Hey everyone!

I'm back with the sweet moments of Shannon & Kirk's ceremony & reception last Saturday evening. Jason Crader Photography did a great job capturing those special moments!

Shannon & Kirk: The Details

Hey everyone!

Shannon and Kirk were married last Saturday evening in Little Rock, Arkansas. They are a fun, lively couple who wanted to bring that element of their personalities into the wedding design and I think we achieved it very successfully! I am crazy about the fresh, summer color palette of turquoise, kiwi, and white. It makes me want to dive into a pool right this minute! Today, I'm sharing the details of their day as seen through the eyes of their photographer, Jason Crader. Enjoy...

Bridesmaid bouquets were repurposed on cocktail tables at the reception. Kiwi crinkle linens from Party Time Rentals.

A small bundle of fresh green calla lilies was placed in each window in the Ballroom at the Junior League of Little Rock.

Guests would wave ribbon wands as the bride & groom made their exit. Made by the bride herself!

Mary Shannon's Bridal Portraits

We had the immense pleasure of planning the Little Rock wedding of Mary Shannon & Aaron Metrailer, which took place on Saturday night and was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Shannon & Kirk: The Rehearsal Dinner

Hey everyone!

Shannon and Kirk were married Saturday evening in Little Rock, Arkansas, and while the wedding photos are yet to come, we were also brought on board to plan the rehearsal dinner. It turned out absolutely beautifully! Their 60 guests came together in the stunning Ballroom of the Capital Hotel to enjoy a filet dinner, full bar, specialty cocktails, and each others' fabulous company.

One of Shannon's sweet friends was kind enough to email me photos she took from the rehearsal dinner and I'm so excited to show you the details we designed for them! Enjoy...

Overall, it turned out perfectly! Thank you to Mrs. Hall for bringing us in on the plans for this special rehearsal dinner. And to the Capital Hotel who's impeccable service made us look really good!

Sarah & Danny's Storybook Invitations

Hey everyone!

I am beyond excited to share Sarah & Danny's gorgeous, whimsical invitation.The paper suite was designed especially for their Alice in Wonderland inspired Southern wedding by the brilliant Amy Hannon of Sincerely Yours Paper Inc. We had so much fun meeting with Amy to brainstorm ideas for their custom wedding paper. Her description of the invitations is perfect, so I'll let her words take over from here....

Modern with its crisp use of cobalt and creme and an incorporated geometric quatrefoil pattern. Storybook with its Alice in Wonderland-esque wording, whimsical typestyle and featured graphics that echo Alice themes. And continuing the storybook feel, each invitation was wrapped in a brown kraft address label that mimics an old-fashioned book plate showing ownership of the book...and custom rabbit postage of course!  No stone went unturned in this dreamy, all-out "Alice" invitation...
