Princess Kate's "Something Borrowed"

Kate Middleton chose the perfect accessory for her gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown. On loan from the Queen, she wore a stunning Cartier tiara that was originally made in 1936 for Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother). It was then given to her daughter, the current Queen on her 18th birthday.

Many thought Kate would wear Princess Diana's tiara, but I'm thrilled with this choice. The history alone is fabulous! But the smaller size & feminine curls at the top are the perfect compliment to her features.

Royal Wedding: Incredible Hats

One of the things I was most looking forward to about today's wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is the gorgeous, elaborate, and quirky hats. As is the custom at a royal wedding, no one can remove their hats until the Queen removes here. Here are just a few of my favorites...

BHLDN unveiled!

As everyone in the wedding world is, I'm now obsessed with Anthropologie's new wedding line, BHLDN. It's everything you would imagine from Anthropologie: whimsical, ethereal, a little quirky, and completely beautiful!

I actually asked my husband yesterday if we can get married again so that I can wear an Anthropologie wedding gown...he said no :) So, I'll have to live through all of you!

I've been trying and trying to narrow down the items I wanted to share with you today, and had a hugely difficult time! Converse Crazy!

I love this great trend in weddings! Let your groom & his groomsmen be comfortable! It won't hurt anything, in fact, I think it adds a relaxed, fun atmosphere to your big day. It's not a trend that is for everyone, and if it's not you, you shouldn't try to force it. But if you are a laid back couple who enjoys doing things a little differently, why not?! It's especially fitting for an outdoor wedding.
