A miracle happened last night...After a week of constant rain, with a 90% chance of thunderstorms for the evening, the rain stopped and Rachel and Matt were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas. (Of course we were prepared with tents and heaters)
The bride was stunning in a strapless ball gown (with blue rainboots!), and carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses & white anemone wrapped in lace from her mother's wedding gown. She walked down the aisle to "Trumpet Voluntary" - her "something borrowed", as her mother and sister also walked down the aisle to the tune. The ceremony was absolutely perfect (although a little cold) and the bride and groom walked back down the aisle to "The Two of Us" by The Beatles.
The reception, on the tented terrace, was a party! Guests dined on delicious food from Catering Concepts, enjoyed "Something Blue" specialty drinks, and were entertained by the fabulous music of the Red Amibition Band. The reception was absolutely stunning! Black and white with touches of light blue, everything came together perfectly - the beautiful pave rose centerpieces with led lights on damask fabric were chic and modern. The bride, a graphic designer, created an incredible logo that we included on everything possible (centerpieces, programs, specialty drink recipe cards, the cake, and much, much more). The cake, by Shelby Lynn's Cake Shoppe, was a perfect compliment to the rest of the decor, and rested on a cake stand we created of pave flowers. The photobooth from Dancenhance was a huge hit! Guests came back again and again to take photos and the bride and groom's book, filled with the photos, was absolutely hilarious and priceless!
I could talk about this wedding forever! But pictures will speak much louder. Check back soon! I'll be posting a sneak peak as soon as possible with a full gallery in a few weeks.
